Are you always in a rush in the morning? Do you want to know how to get ready faster and save time so you can start the day the right way?
In the morning many of us are in hurry, either because we oversleep and over snooze the alarm, or time just seems to run too fast.
But this sense of rush and the worry to be late can often lead to anxiety and stress for the rest of the day or become a habit.
What if we could have more time by doing fewer things?
1. Be healthy.
Being healthy makes you more active, even in the morning when you just woke up. It is easier to enter the day in a positive and proactive way if your body and mind are healthy and ready to take action.
So exercise, eat well and sleep well. If you have a good sleep at night you’ll have the strength and clarity to face your day.
2. Invest in your skin.
Do you know how is it time-consuming to do a full face makeup? If you watch a makeup tutorial on youtube you can see how many products they have to apply and how much time it takes. Do you really need all of that ?
Save complicate looks for special occasions and simplify your makeup routine by using only a few numbers of products and investing in a healthy skin, this will save you time.
When you have a healthy skin you can just either apply some mascara or lipstick, do your brows and you’re ready to go!
3. Start to get yourself ready the night before
Shower and wash your hair at night and style them while you sleep. You can braid them, or make a top knot or roll your hair.
The internet is full of tutorials, experiment and find what work best for your hairs 😉
4. Declutter and organize vital spaces.
Declutter and organize every space and room you use the most.
Remember: less is better.
A clutter free and organized space will simplify your life.
You won’t waste time anymore by looking for things you can’t find in the mess!
5. Create a capsule wardrobe.
Even here, declutter and organize and think that less is more.
Again, this will save you time and will simplify your life.
If you need different outfits for different occasions (for example for the office), create different capsule wardrobes or divide your wardrobe spaces.
You can have one for an everyday/free-time look, one for the office, and another one for special occasions.
Have fewer accessories that go with most of your outfits. This will allow you to be more efficient in dressing up.
Have only key pieces that you love, like a few hats, a few pieces of necklaces and earrings that can go with most of your outfits. A reference number can be to have maximum three pieces of each item, as you’ll always end up using the same ones you like the most.

6. Use a timer and alarm
Set a time for anything you do: breakfast, dressing up, makeup. And set an alarm at the time you have to leave home.
This optimizes your time. You can use a timer for any activity you have to do and it will boost your productivity.
7. Wear comfortable shoes.
You’ve already seen this tip everywhere, it really makes life easier !
So, if you’re still avoiding this, it’s time to start doing it!
Prepare as much as you can the night before.
Prepare a good outfit and what you need for breakfast.
Ready also your bag and all that you need for work or school, even your workout clothes if you have to work out the next day.
Extra hack: choose a special place, like a small table or chair, that you’ll use only to lay out your outfit and all the things you need for the next day. You won’t stress to look for what you need and it will be just ready on hand.
In few words, this is the formula is to get ready faster:
Be healthy, have lesser things that you really love, have clutter-free and organized spaces, wear comfortable shoes, set a time and night prep !
