Here’s how you can enjoy and win your day from the beginning to the end.
The value of mornings
I love mornings! Even if sometimes it’s hard to get out of bed, I really do!
I always feel like each morning is a new beginning. It doesn’t matter if yesterday was a mess, I know that today I can do better! Is it the same for you?
This is why it is so important how you start your day!
The way we spend the first hours in the morning have a powerful influence on how the day will go.
YOUR DAY STARTS THE NIGHT BEFORE
Life is a cycle and days too. How you finish the day before will impact the following day, so learn how to end the day the right way so you’ll start the next one the best way you can.
1. HAVE A HEALTHY SLEEPING ROUTINE
A good quality sleep is a must if you want to have an amazing day. You need a rested body and mind to be able to function at your best. Sleep deprivation, on the other hand, can lead to many health issues and gives you a bad mood the following day. So please, give more love to yourself with a good rest at night 🙂
2. Plan a start you love
Plan your breakfast and make it as enjoyable as possible.
Have something you love and that is healthy too, it will give you a good reason to get up in the morning.
For me, it’s my big mug of cafe latte, I love it <3.
3. Plan an exciting tomorrow
Plan the next day in your calendar or planner. This is key to live a balanced and effective life.
Since I discovered the power of planning, I’ll never ever go back. It is so life changing! Plan by time-blocking your tasks, and schedule also the activities that you enjoy and that are important for you (like family, hobbies, exercise etc.). Schedule at the early hours the most important and difficult tasks (your ugly frogs).
4. Night prep
This is another thing that changed my life. Prepare as much as you can the night before!
Prepare a good outfit: you will not only save time in the morning but you’ll always look at your best no matter if you’re in hurry in the morning.
Prepare the things you need for the following day: ready also your bag and all that you need for work or school, even your workout clothes if you have to work out the next day. Choose a special place, like a small table or chair, to lay out your clothes and all the things you need for the next day.
You won’t stress to look for what you need and it will be just ready on hand.
GIVE MEANING TO YOUR DAY
AS SOON AS YOU WAKEUP: SMILE!
This is something I promise you to be really effective.
Smiling makes you feel better and it’s something we should do more. Do it as soon as you wake to start your day the right way.

6. ENJOY PEACE
Don’t check emails and social media first thing in the morning, nor before bed.
The first hour of the day and the hour before bed are very important for your day. These can make you or break you, so be careful on how you’re going to use these precious hours. Instead, spend this time to build something good and to initiate the day the right way.
Have breakfast with your loved ones, pet your dog or cat, listen to or read something uplifting.
7. CREATE A MORNING ROUTINE
Strategize your morning and be proactive immediately.
You can start with small things: it can be a 5 minutes walk, reading, praying. Anything good and healthy for your body and your soul.

8. Follow your plan
Once you’re into your day, it’s time to execute.
Shut the voice in your head that’s telling you all excuses imaginable and just act. At this point pretend to be a robot with no feelings that has only to work and accomplish the task.
9. Do something meaningful
If in the previous part you had to pretend to be a cold robot with no feelings, this part will cover your deep human side.
Plan to do something you love or that brings you closer to your dreams and add it to your schedule.
It can be a hobby, a special project, a skill you want to develop.
Value your passions and dreams and make time for them, they give life and energy to you. If you don’t know this already, you can discover your gifting and calling in life through your passions. So keep cultivating them and find out what are their deeper meanings.
END THE DAY THE BEST WAY
10. AT THE END OF THE DAY RELAX, BE GRATEFUL, AND REWARD YOURSELF
At the end of your day, you finally deserve a good rest!
I love the feeling of a deserved rest when I feel I accomplished something.
Review your day, see what worked and what didn’t and why, and think of ways on how you can make it happen the next day.
Reward yourself. Working hard is important but never forget to reward yourself afterward. Well done, you did a good job!
And last but not the least, be grateful!
Despite the things that may not go the way we want, we always have something to be thankful for.
And to close the day, remember to smile again 🙂
